Tired of being a well behaved, balanced & mature adult (or cosplaying it for The Man?). It’s time to get down on the floor (or surface most suited to your mobility needs) & chuck the sexiest tantrum you’ve ever thrown. Why be chill when you can be surreal & unhinged? Come and be on your worst behaviour with Artemis Seven & make the audience beg for the brat.
We’ll go over some classic bratty moves, how the brat archetype can help you improvise & reinstate boundaries with an audience, and then learn a fun and deeply ridiculous group choreo to try it out in real time!
This workshop is suitable for all levels & requires no previous dance or performance experience!

what to expect💅
ONE
We warm up our bodies & souls for our tantrums - because the last thing we need is for our bodies to overthrow us!
TWO
We'll go over some of my favourite bratty moves (& some of my favourite brats who inspired them)
THREE
We learn a bit of choreo so we can combine our bratty energies together, creating a force field so powerful that our child selves will be outshone in their tantrum abilities
FOUR
We debrief & cool down (one must make sure the body is in good condition for future tantrums)

The human behind Artemis - Morgan HeathWilliams is also an actor and collaborator of creative theatre works, recently starring in Girl on The Train produced by Mockingbird Theatre, and Catch Jazida, an award winning original work by Jazida. She is also venturing into directing, with her co-directing debut hitting stages January 2027

I started teaching my Bratlesque workshop & classes a few years BC (Before Covid). One day I'll nail down an exact date but honestly if i tried to do that now I'd never finish this page & we would never get to throw a tantrum together.
The important part is that Bratlesque is not just an excuse to let it out, or practise your sexy-mad face, it's also a way of practising setting expectations, subverting them, and reinstating boundaries with an audience.Â
